And So Much More...
1. What exactly happens during the free consultation?
We’ll talk through your idea, style direction, placement, and size, look at any reference images, and answer your questions. The goal is for you to leave with clarity—what it should look like, where it should go, and a realistic next step.
2. How long does a consultation take?
Most consultations take 10–20 minutes. Bigger projects (sleeves, cover-ups, back pieces) may take a bit longer so we can plan it correctly.
3. Do I need to come in with a fully formed idea?
No. If you have a general concept or vibe, that’s enough. We can help you narrow style, subject, composition, and placement so you don’t feel stuck or overwhelmed.
4. Will I meet the artist during the consultation?
In many cases, yes—especially if you’re ready to move forward or it’s a larger project. If the artist is in a session, we’ll still get the information we need, and then connect you with the right artist to confirm direction and next steps.
5. What should I bring to the consultation?
Bring any reference images you like, notes on placement/size, and any “must-haves” or “hard no’s.” If it’s a cover-up, bring a clear photo of the existing tattoo.
6. I’m worried I’ll feel pressured—do I have to book that day?
No. The consultation is about clarity, not pressure. If you want to think it over, that’s completely fine. We’ll give you the information you need to decide confidently.
7. Can I get an estimate during the consultation?
Yes. Once we understand size, detail level, placement, and approach, we can give you a realistic range and explain what affects the final price so there are no surprises.
8. How do you match me with the “right” artist?
We match based on the style you want, the type of project (small piece vs. sleeve vs. cover-up), the placement, and the finish you’re aiming for. The goal is simple: the artist who does that kind of work best handles your tattoo.
9. What happens after the consultation if I want to move forward?
We’ll confirm your artist match, lock in your appointment date, and collect any required deposit to reserve your time. You’ll also get prep and aftercare guidance so you know exactly what to expect.
10. If I’m not ready to book, can I still submit the form?
Yes. A lot of people start with “I’m exploring.” Submit anyway—your consultation can be used to get direction, pricing clarity, and a realistic plan so you can decide when you’re ready.
